Office Professional install will not run. It says the Office is corrupt and must be repaired or removed. Neither Repair nor remove will work from Control Panel. When you install Microsoft Office or related updates, the setup does not respond. Additionally, the installation is not completed. To work around this issue, temporarily disable the print spooler service, try to install Office or related updates, and then restart the service.
To do this, follow these steps:. Swipe in from the right side of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search. Click Start , click Run , type services. Tap or click Stop , and then tap or click OK. As soon as Office or related updates are installed on your PC, go back to the list of services and open Print Spooler.
